More love to give | Mission Viejo Family Photographer

This amazing family has just begun their adoption journey. After many many years dealing with infertility after they had Hudson, they realized that it just wasn't in the cards for them to have another child... biologically. But they didn't feel complete. The ache of having another child to love only grew stronger. Unfortunately, adoption in the United States is extremely expensive and so for them, it just didn't seem like a possibility. After months of research and trying to find some way to complete their family, they decided to take the plunge and sign up with an adoption agency. Matt will be writing grants, Laura will be coordinating fundraisers and they, as a family, will keep pushing forward until they have their missing piece.
Laura has a blog that she updates pretty regularly. You can find it here: A Sibling For Hudson

That care free and loving feeling | Mission Viejo Family Photographer

I just loved this family's no fuss, fancy free and loving attitude. I knew right away that it was going to be a rockin session when I saw them arrive in flip flops! Talk about my people.  :)
My goal for all of my family sessions is to show each family's unique and beautiful bond they have with each other. No family is the same (duh!), and I love being able to show that in the images I take.

Family strong | Mission Viejo Family Photographer

This family was such a joy to photograph! You would never know, looking at these pictures, that the following day they would be taking their son, Henry, for an intense round of chemo. But instead of living in anxiety and fear, they were laughing and loving on each other. Family goals, for sure.

The Force is strong with this one | Mission Viejo Newborn Photographer

This little guy's mom is a huge science fiction fan. So naturally, she had a little knitted Yoda hat, a Millennium Falcon rug and a couple of friendly droids to add to the photos. I love it when we can incorporate those fun little touches into a session.
